Para Laura Stella Sánchez, el acto de pintar no es una ejecución de una idea precebida, sino un proceso de rendición absoluta ante el lienzo. Su obra nace de un diálogo silencioso y profundo con el material, enfrentando el vacío y la incertidumbre inicial para permitir que la forma se revele por sí misma. En este ejercicio de sensibilidad, la artista se permite perderse, modificando y transformando la materia hasta que, finalmente, “aparece la luz”.A través de su serie Quantum, Laura explora la vibración de la materia y la interconexión de los campos energéticos, traduciendo la complejidad invisible de la física cuántica al lenguaje táctil y visual del óleo. Su búsqueda se centra en el papel del observador y en cómo la intención modifica la realidad, transformando conceptos científicos en una experiencia plástica vibrante.Egresada de la Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes en Uruguay, su trayectoria es un tránsito fluido entre la cerámica, la escultura y la joyería de autor. Esta formación multidisciplinar le permite abordar la pintura con una consciencia tridimensional, buscando siempre ese punto de convergencia donde la separación desaparece y todo —materia, energía y espíritu— vibra en una unidad indivisible.

For Laura Stella Sánchez, the act of painting is not the execution of a preconceived idea, but a process of absolute surrender to the canvas. Her work arises from a silent and profound dialogue with the material, facing the initial emptiness and uncertainty to allow the form to reveal itself. In this exercise of sensitivity, the artist allows herself to be lost, modifying and transforming the medium until, finally, “the light appears.”Through her Quantum series, Laura explores the vibration of matter and the interconnection of energy fields, translating the invisible complexity of quantum physics into the tactile and visual language of oil painting. Her research focuses on the role of the observer and how intention modifies reality, transforming scientific concepts into a vibrant plastic experience.A graduate of the National School of Fine Arts in Uruguay, her career is a fluid transition between ceramics, sculpture, and jewelry design. This multidisciplinary background allows her to approach painting with a three-dimensional awareness, always seeking that point of convergence where separation disappears and everything—matter, energy, and spirit—vibrates in an indivisible unity.
